Yankie bets is a way of combining a number of selections normally 4 into 11 bets that consist of 6 double bets and 4 treble bets and finally an accumulator. You will need at least 2 selections to win in their respective games to get a return.
Personally i dont like or use Yankie betting. There are too many selections and the odds are not in your favour. Bookies love punters who take these bets on as they are unlikely to occur. If you are interested in yankie betting and can understand how they work, you might want to do paper betting for a few weeks and see how many times you win. If you find that you are good at it then progress to betting for real.
For those that dont knowe paper betting is when you just write down your selections but dont place the bet. This is used to get to grips with a certain system or to get used to a new way of betting.
It can sound complicated at first but for me the difficulty is in writing down the bet. If you do this bet in a shop then the staff can help you write it out. Basically the best way to write out a yankie slip is to write your selections on a betting slip and on most if not all online bookies on the slip it will have a multiple betting options link on the slip and when you press on the the yankie should be there. Select that and the bookie will sort the bet for you.
I would recommend that if you are interested in this type of bet to trial it first for a few weeks to get used to it. I f you feel comfortable with it and have won with it, then by all means progress to placing real bets. I have when first using this bet gone to a high street bookie and asked them how to fill in the slip for a yankie bet. This way i know what it should look like and therefore when i place a bet online i know how the slip should look. I recommend that you do the same.
So yankie betting will not be for everyone and it does require a few results to go in your favour before you win even a small amount back. Yankie betting s not for me, but that doesn't mean that it cant work fo you.
